Seeking Guild Merger - Guild Wars Forums

The S L A Y E R S are seeking a merger with a larger guild than ours that uses vent, is ranked 700 or better, and is VERY ACTIVE in GvG/HoH. We hail from AC back in the day, DAOC, and WoW.

We are comprised of ten peeps that range in age from 25 to 45, and have had great difficulty mustering enough troops at one time to do any gvg or hoh. Five of us are level 20's and have multiple toons so that we can create versatile PvP toons as needed. We play intelligently and will adjust to expectations of the guild we merge to. We are flexible with professions and builds. Usually any 2-4 of us are online at most times.

We would welcome merging our guild to a larger one, or absorbing several smaller ones. We expect the guild that we merge with to be run by reasonably mature adults. Most of us are becoming frustrated with not being able to participate in eight on eight pvp.

My Guild had 12 members when we started to play GW upon its release. Once we decided to open doors to recruits it took about 3-4 weeks for the Guild to grow to 40+ members. In that time we recruited and removed those that didn't fit in with the Guild's goals. We now have a solid core of players in PvE and PvP. Having a website, forums to discuss strategy and using TS in PvP helped a lot. I suggest you stick it out and start recruiting. It's all in how you present your Guild to those looking. Our site btw is www.gw.mysticteam.com we've stopped recruiting, but if anyone wants to check it out, we may open our doors again fairily soon once we weed out any new members that don't fit into how the Guild operates.

Thanks for your advice. If I could do anything different, I would have started a website from the beginning.

We have just found a guild that we will merge into. Hopefully this will work out.
